When to book newborn session?
It’s never sure what exact day your baby will be born. When you contact me I’ll ask you about your due date and pencil you in, to make sure I have few dates to offer around that time.
Please contact me again within 48h after your baby arrives. We’ll then book your session on a day that’s most suitable for you.
If you want to capture your baby baby at the freshes state, best time to take photos would be between 6-14 days old, saying that newborns can be booked for their session up to 6 weeks old.
WHat if I have a c-section planned?
We can book your session date at the end of the 2 weeks period after your delivery. If you'll feel that you are not ready for the session on the scheduled date and need a bit more time to recover, that's absoluely fine. Write to me and we'll reschedule.
Can my older children be a part of the shoot?
Your older children can stay for the entire session. Posing styles always prioritize safety of the newborn baby and depends on siblings ages. I will usually start with family photos when there are siblings involved, especially toddlers, as their excitement to be in the photos can wizz off pretty quickly :)
Only Newborn MINI have no family photos as it's baby only package.
Can our pets be a part of the shoot?
Your animals are part of your family. Of corse they join you for the session. I love these images. It will be even easier if the shession happens in your home as they can organicly insert themselves into the shoots.
